Legendary Eyes
Legendary Eyes are the sixteen End Remastered eyes. In Soulrend they replace Eyes of Ender: the End portal only accepts these eyes, and their quests open Act IV.
Usage#
- The End portal has twelve frames. Each frame takes one Legendary Eye and refuses an eye type already in the portal, so opening it takes twelve different eyes. Plain Eyes of Ender don’t fit, and placed eyes can’t be taken back out.
- Finding the stronghold: a Legendary Eye can be thrown like an Eye of Ender to point toward it.
- Act IV: the Act IV gate opens after any five of the sixteen eye quests in Journey To The End. The quests only check the inventory, so claim each one before placing its eye.
- Sources differ for every eye: structure chests, bosses (Yeti, Infernal Dragon, Wither) and a few Soulrend recipes. Journey To The End lists them all with the quest’s difficulty rating. Soulrend turns off two End Remastered sources: Cryptic Eyes from normal enchanting and Evil Eyes from Cleric trades.
