Storage Items

Storage Items are the pack’s chests, barrels, drawers and item networks, from five mods. They don’t affect progression; this page explains how each system works, and the tables below list every item with its tooltip.

Usage#

Sophisticated Storage#

Chests, barrels and shulker boxes come in six tiers. Each tier adds slots and upgrade slots:

• Tier upgrades (Basic to Copper, Copper to Iron, and so on) are used on a placed storage to raise its tier without emptying it. The Basic Tier Upgrade turns a vanilla chest or barrel into the Sophisticated version.
• Upgrades go into the upgrade slots: pickup, magnet, filter, hopper, compacting, void, feeding, smelting, crafting, jukebox and others. Their advanced versions add filtering options; the tooltips in the table say what each one does.
• Limited Barrels (I to IV) hold one, two, three or four item types in large stacks instead of normal slots.
• A Storage Controller joins touching Sophisticated storages into one network; Storage Connectors bridge the gaps.

Storage Drawers#

A drawer block holds large amounts of one item per slot: a full 1×1 drawer holds 32 stacks, a 1×2 holds 16 per slot and a 2×2 holds 8 per slot (half drawers hold half). Compacting drawers store an item and its compressed forms together.

• Storage upgrades multiply capacity: Obsidian ×2, Copper ×4, Iron ×8, Gold ×16, Emerald ×64, Diamond ×256, Netherite ×2,048.
• Other upgrades void excess items, show fill levels, emit redstone, pull or push items, collect nearby items, or let a filled drawer be carried.
• Keys: the Drawer Key locks a drawer to its item (hold it in the off hand to lock new drawers), the Shroud Key hides labels, the Quantify Key shows counts, the Suspend Key pauses a controller, Priority Keys set which drawer fills first, Connection Keys set each side’s input and output, and the Personal Key keeps other players out. Crouch-use cycles a key’s mode. A Keyring holds keys and cycles between them.
• A Drawer Controller links every drawer within 50 blocks into one interface; Remote Upgrades connect drawers out of reach.

Tom’s Simple Storage#

An Inventory Connector joins every touching inventory into one network (up to 16 blocks away, with Trims filling gaps). A Storage Terminal placed on the network shows every item in it; the Crafting Terminal adds a crafting grid. Inventory Cables with Cable Connectors reach farther inventories. The Wireless Terminal works within 16 blocks of a terminal; the Advanced Wireless Terminal binds to a terminal (shift-right-click) and works within 64 blocks, or from anywhere in the dimension when the terminal sits on a beacon. The Inventory Hopper imports or exports filtered items, and the Level Emitter gives a redstone signal based on contents.

Iron Chests: Restocked#

Upgraded chests and barrels: Copper 36 slots, Iron 54, Gold 66, Diamond, Obsidian and Crystal 72 (the Crystal Chest shows its items), Netherite 91, and the joke Dirt Chest 1. Chest upgrades convert a placed chest to the next tier with its contents. The Lock and Key lock a chest to its key, and the Dolly picks up a full chest.

Create item vaults#

Item Vaults placed next to each other merge into one larger vault that holds 54 stacks per block. “Hold [W] to Ponder” opens Create’s animated tutorial for it.
