Act IV – Beyond Reality Gate
Act IV – Beyond Reality Gate is the last quest of Act III, an octagon titled Act IV - Beyond Reality in the quest book. Its only task is to enter the End. It opens once any five of the sixteen Legendary Eye quests in Journey To The End are complete, and completing it opens Act IV – Beyond Reality.
Requirements#
Any 5 of the 16 eye quests in Journey To The End. Each of those asks for one Legendary Eye, so five different eyes are enough to unlock this quest.
No Sin kill is required, even though the Eight Sins text says four are. The eye quests themselves only need the Magical Eyes quest from Act II, so they can be done early.
Objectives#
Enter the End (minecraft:the_end).
Rewards#
- “Move into Act IV”, which opens Beyond Reality.
Completing this quest also opens three Sky Arena shop quests: the two Simply Swords draws and Perfect Gems.
Walkthrough#
- Collect Legendary Eyes. The quest needs five, but the portal needs more: the End portal has twelve frames, each frame takes one eye, and a frame refuses an eye of a type already in the portal. Opening it takes twelve different Legendary Eyes. Plain Eyes of Ender can’t be placed.
- Claim five eye quests in Journey To The End as the eyes come in. The eye quests only check the inventory, so claim each before placing the eye.
- Find the stronghold. Legendary Eyes can still be thrown to point the way to it.
- Fill the twelve frames and step through the portal.
Warning
Eyes placed in the portal frames can’t be taken out again.
