Summoner

The Summoner is a mage class of the Evocation school. In-game description: “Uses summoning magic to defeat enemies”.

Powers#

Power Effect
Magic Affinity +50% max mana.
Evocation mastery +30% Evocation Spell Power.
Basic Items Leather armor, 8 Bread, and a Soulbound Flimsy Journal (5 slots) with Firecracker IV and Shield I.

Playstyle#

The Summoner opens with Firecracker from its starting book and learns more Evocation spells from scrolls as it progresses. The +30% applies to every Evocation spell. Like every mage class, it has no penalty with weapons, but it has no melee bonus either. The Mage skill tree's Evocation school node is Evoker.

Pairs well with#

  • Revenant: Evocation Spell Power sets the size of its undead squad.
  • High Elf: +50 max mana (multiplied by Magic Affinity) and +25% magic damage.
  • Faded: +30% Spell Power and more mana, at the cost of half its health; it can only take a mage class.
