The Skill Tree

The Skill Tree (“Unlock Unique Perks”) is a Prologue quest that introduces Soulrend’s second progression system, the passive skill tree. Skill points come from leveling up, which comes from dealing damage. The quest is a checkmark and gives an Amnesia Scroll, which resets the tree so its points can be spent again.

The Skill Tree (Prologue)

The second system of progression is the Skill Trees, you can access the Skill Trees by pressing [O] (default) or with the tab in your inventory menu, there, you will find hundreds of skills and perks to unlock.

To gain skill points you must deal damage, tracked in the levelling menu. When you Level Up you gain 1 skill and 1 attribute point.

Rewards#

  • Amnesia Scroll (resets your passive skill tree)

Walkthrough#

  1. Press O, or use the skill tree tab in the inventory.
  2. Spend points from the root outward. Keep the Amnesia Scroll for when a build needs to change.

Tip

Quests later in the book give Wisdom Scrolls, which grant one passive skill point each. The Cataclysm boss kills in The Eight Sins give one per boss.
