Defeat The Dead King
Defeat The Dead King is a three-quest line in Act II about the Catacombs, an Iron’s Spellbooks dungeon. The first fight is The Dead King (level 40). The last quest asks for the scroll that summons the Enraged Dead King, a level 200 version of the same boss. Nothing else in the act depends on this line.

Rewards#
- Defeat The Dead King: common, uncommon, epic or legendary ink.
- The scroll quest: a choice from the Orb table and a choice from the Magic Runes table.
Walkthrough#
- Find the Catacombs with an Explorer’s Compass and fight through to the Dead King.
- Search the Catacombs chests for a Call Forth The Dead King scroll. It only appears there.
- Keep the scroll in your inventory until the quest’s scroll task ticks off, then cast it to summon the Enraged Dead King. Casting a scroll uses it up.
Caution
The Enraged Dead King is level 200, far above any other Act II boss. Read Enraged Dead King before casting the scroll.
