Usage#

  • Soul Collector: hits reap Soul Fragments in a three-hit cycle (up to 200 stored).
  • Cursed Blast (hold right-click): it charges a rail-shot whose damage depends on the Soul Fragments stored, and uses them up. Entities within 3 blocks of the path take 50% damage. Every 50 fragments spent creates a Soul Apex (up to 5).
  • With Soul Apex stored, Cursed Blast instead spends one Apex for a fixed-damage blast with full damage in a 3-block radius, scaling with generic and Ice spell power.

It comes imbued with the spell Apex Harvest, which collects Soul Apex within 20 blocks. Its tooltip shows the stored fragments and Apex.

Its tooltip shows three evolution stars. Each evolution is a separate item, made at a Smithing Table from the level before it (see Used in), and each one improves the ability:

  • Evo 1: hits reap 50% more Soul Fragments.
  • Evo 2: a second manifestation, Quick Shot, spends only 20 fragments for a fixed-damage shot that makes no Soul Apex. The manifestations can be switched.
  • Evo 3: fragment-powered Cursed Blasts scale with generic and Ice spell power.
